About Joel Frank

Fine Finished Carpentry in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA

Joel Frank has been working as a carpenter for over 14 years. He began alongside his father, a custom cabinet maker and contractor in Upstate New York. After completing a BFA in Studio Art and Masters in Art Education, Joel joined a well-respected, high-quality custom homebuilder and remodeler in Ithaca, New York, gaining in-depth experience in all aspects of residential home construction. His employers quickly recognized his talent, and Joel was soon working independently as a Lead Carpenter on projects requiring the highest technical ability, creativity, attention to detail and client relations.

In 2007, Joel founded Joel Frank Carpentry in Ann Arbor, Michigan, lending his talents to projects from a two-room library in honor of Winston Churchill to designing and building custom cabinetry. In 2009, Joel moved his business to San Francisco, CA. He currently freelances throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, and continues to find time for his many hobbies, including cycling, boating, playing music, building instruments, sculpture, and cooking.
